The Copper Country Skating Academy annually hosts several events for our skaters, families and guest. Information and registration forms for each event can be found by clicking the links on the left.
- Registration Night - In mid-September, this is the official night to register for package ice and make arrangements for coaches. Other information is also provided and the resale store and other skating-related vendors are often available.
- Turkey Trot - In November, this 2-day event includes a test session, and a day of competition for individual competitors and a High School team competiton. This event is open to any USFS or Basic Skills registered skaters.
- Ice Show - In March, CCSA combines with the MTU Learn-to-skate program and usually some local guest skaters (dads and/or High School hockey players) to present 2-showings of the annual Ice Show.
- Test Sessions - CCSA hosts at least 3 High-Level test sessions each year. Typically in August, November and February, these test sessions are open to any USFS registered skaters.
- Summer Skating School - In August, Michigan Tech hosts the Summer Skating School. Although not a CCSA event, many CCSA professionals and skaters participate in this school.
- Holiday Recital - This entirely for-fun, free performance is typically held in early December. Only CCSA skaters may perform in this.
- Annual Meeting & Banquet - Held in April, this is when the new board of directors are elected and when annual awards are presented.
