The CCSA typically hosts at least three test sessions per year. The August test session is held at the conclusion of Michigan Tech's Summer Skating school. The November test session is held on the Friday of the Turkey Trot competition weekend. The February test session is typically held around Valentine's Day but is dependent upon when the ice is available. Some years a fourth Low Test Session is also held some time in January.
In addition, test sessions are also held at rinks as close as: Marquette, Eagle River-WI, Minocqua-WI, Green Bay-WI.
For those of you new to Testing:
Test Sessions are a way for Figure Skaters to track their skating proficiency in levels set by the USFSA. Tests are conducted in three disciplines: Dance, Moves in the Field and Freestyle.
Your coaches can give you more information on the whole testing process, the testing levels and how to know when you are ready to test.
