Spring Ice Show

Each year, The Copper Country Skating Academy teams up with the Michigan Tech Learn-To-Skate program, and some local guest skaters (Michigan Tech Figure Skating Club, dads and/or High School hockey players) to present the Spring Ice Show.

Don't miss your opportunity to help out with the ice show.  Ice show committee members are needed to help with all aspects of the ice show - don't miss out on the fun!  Once registration is over, check back for the volunteer sign-up form because it is a big event and we will need volunteers for all aspects of the show, including:

Holiday Recital

The Holiday Recital is a free performance where CCSA skaters have the opportunity to select their own music and costumes with a holiday theme.

There is no cost to attend the recital or to participate in the recital. It's a great way to celebrate the season with skating friends and relatives. Following the performance there is a social with holiday treats to share and an ornament exchange.

Skaters should begin planning their performances early so they can fit in practice time during their regular scheduled sessions or by "dropping in" for extra sessions.

Planning for the recital is already underway. Volunteers are needed to coordinate the event, play music, announce, coordinate the social and get the programs put together and printed. A link to the volunteer sign up sheet will be available here soon.
